Last Tuesday Marcel and Joyce left for Le Mans in France with four horses. An international show was in the program.
Beukenvallei's Iconic B was entered in the small tour class, Donnee in the class for seven year old horses and Euro in the middle tour.
Sophie van der Steen and her pony Yellow Boy went to Le Mans as well.
For Euro it didn't go as planned as just before Joyce was going to warm him up for the first test, he got a colic. It was a very stressful day to get him better but he is fine again.
Iconic B did three days in a row a super job. In the first two tests there was a big mistake but still he was placed seventh. On the third day Joyce and Iconic B came fifth in the final kur at Intermediaire I level.
Donnee (owned by Anna Kasatkina) is still inexperienced but what a great horse! Joyce and Donnee came sixth and fifth.
Well.... Sophie van Der Steen and her Yellow Boy... what a great performance of these two! The Dutch national anthem was played for them two times! This pair won the nations test and the final kur and they finished third in the individual test!
